Hi there! My name is Dipti Siddamsettiwar. I am so excited you are here.

I am a Private Chef, and I teach cooking classes focusing on healthy and nourishing foods. SF and Bay Area people can order food from me online.

My food is slow-cooked, organic, free of refined oils and sugars, and made with the highest quality single-origin ingredients. I like to know where my food comes from and the people behind my products and ingredients. I expect radical transparency in my food and want to offer you the same.

I come from an architecture (designing buildings) and UX Design background. My journey into exploring Food as Medicine started around ten years back when I was doing my master’s in New York. I was experiencing hormonal imbalances due to inconsistent sleep schedules, many late-night coffees, and lifestyle shifts. Along the way, I kept implementing changes in my diet as much as possible. Fast forward to pursuing my big dreams, I came to silicon valley and started working in tech. I began experiencing severe anxiety and depression. I knew something had to change in how I felt in my body, and the answer for me was to use food as medicine over medications to heal my anxiety. I dove deep into food psychology and working with my acupuncturist, through which I changed my relationship with food and started seeing changes immediately. It was both a physical and emotional healing journey, and through the process, my love for cooking nourishing meals grew exponentially. I started taking my food to work, and people started noticing it, and I started sharing food with others just for fun. At that time, a colleague with an autoimmune condition asked me if I could cook for them, and I started cooking meals to support them. That felt more fulfilling than anything else. Through that whole process, I healed my anxiety and landed my dream job, only to burn out entirely again. I continued working on my food on the side, sharing it with others, and seeing hearts open when people came together over food. It has since been a healing journey for me. I quit my job in tech and started my food business, focusing on helping people heal on their journey with food.

While passionate about food, I believe that the whole mind-body connection is what matters. That is why I am now diving deep into Functional Nutrition Systems to empower myself with mind-body connection and nutrition and how it all works together. I am excited about working with people and their healthcare practitioners to identify their specific needs and cook for people from a very informed place.
