Hello there! My name is Dipti Siddamsettiwar, and I’m thrilled to have you here.

I’m a Private Chef who teaches cooking classes that focus on healthy and nourishing foods. If you’re in the San Francisco or Bay Area, you can order food from me online.

My food is slow-cooked, organic, and free from refined oils and sugars, made with the highest-quality single-origin ingredients. I like to know where my food comes from and the people behind my products and ingredients. I believe in radical transparency in my food, and I want to offer you the same.

I’m an architect and UX designer, and my journey into exploring food as medicine began around ten years ago when I was studying in New York. I was dealing with hormonal imbalances because of my inconsistent sleep schedule, late-night coffee habits, and lifestyle changes. I tried to make changes to my diet as much as I could. Fast forward to pursuing my dreams, I moved to Silicon Valley and began working in the tech industry. With all the stress, I started feeling anxious and depressed. I knew I had to change how I felt in my body, and I decided to use food as medicine instead of medication to heal my anxiety. I began learning about food psychology and working with my acupuncturist, and through that, I changed my relationship with food, noticing changes right away. It was both a physical and emotional healing journey and through it all, my love for cooking nourishing meals grew significantly. I started bringing my food to work, and people started noticing it, and I started sharing food with others just for fun. At that time, a colleague with an autoimmune condition asked me if I could cook for him, and I started cooking meals to support him. That felt more fulfilling than anything else. Through that whole process, I healed my anxiety and landed my dream job. I continued to pursue my passion for food on the side, sharing it with others and seeing hearts open when people came together over a meal. It’s been a healing journey for me. I quit my job in tech and started my own food business, focusing on helping people heal on their journey with food.

While I’m passionate about food, I believe that the mind-body connection is what matters. That’s why I’m now diving deep into Functional Nutrition Systems to empower myself with mind-body connection and nutrition and how they all work together. I’m excited about working with people and their healthcare practitioners to identify their specific needs and cook for people from a very informed place.
